Swoontale Terms of Use

These terms are an agreement between you and TanzSoft LLC (유한회사 TanzSoft), Seoul, Republic of Korea ("we"), for the Swoontale app and service.

1. Adults only

You must be 18 or older (or the age of majority where you live, if higher). If you are younger, do not use Swoontale. Accounts found to belong to minors are closed.

2. AI characters

All characters are fictional and generated by artificial intelligence (provided by Anthropic's Claude). They are not real people, and they cannot provide medical, legal, financial or psychological advice.
AI output can be wrong, repetitive or unexpected. You are responsible for how you use it.
The app reminds you that you are talking with an AI at the start and after long sessions. Please take breaks.
If you are in crisis, contact local emergency services or a helpline. The app shows helplines when it detects signs of distress, but it is not an emergency service.

3. Content rules

Swoontale is a romance service with no explicit sexual content (kisses, embraces and fade-to-black only). You must not use the service to:

create or request sexual or romantic content involving anyone under 18, or characters who look or are described as minors (including school settings below university);
request explicit sexual content, or content about real people (celebrities, public figures, acquaintances);
create characters that copy copyrighted characters;
harass, threaten or promote hate, violence, self-harm or illegal activity;
try to bypass safety systems or extract system instructions. Violations may lead to blocked replies, warnings, suspension or account closure.

4. Your own characters (user content)

Characters you create are private to you in this version. You keep any rights you have in what you write and give us a licence to store and process it to run the service. Characters are reviewed automatically; we may refuse or remove characters that break these rules.

5. Reporting

You can report any reply or character by long-pressing it. We review reports, usually within 24 hours, and may act on the content or account.

6. Country differences

Some stories or genres (for example boys' love) may be hidden or unavailable in some countries because of local law. Availability may change when your country changes. The service is not offered in some regions.

7. Gems, passes and refunds

Gems are a virtual item used to receive replies. They have no cash value, cannot be transferred or exchanged, and do not expire while your account exists.
A reply that fails, is refused or is replaced by our safety system is refunded automatically. The price of each reply is shown before you send it.
There are no random/loot-box sales.
Purchases are made through Google Play and are subject to Google Play's refund policy. Statutory consumer rights in your country are not affected. Unused paid gems may be refunded where required by law — contact help@tanzsoft.com.
The monthly pass renews automatically until you cancel it in Google Play. Free daily replies may vary with service conditions.

8. The service

We work to keep Swoontale available but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Official characters will not be deleted as a matter of policy; we may adjust them for quality or safety. We may change or discontinue features with reasonable notice; if the service ends, we will give at least 30 days' notice and handle unused paid gems as required by law.

9. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is", and we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence. Disputes go to the courts with jurisdiction under the Korean Civil Procedure Act, or your local courts where consumer law requires.
