Swoontale Privacy Policy

Swoontale ("the app", "we") is an interactive romance story app for adults (18+) in which you chat with fictional AI characters. It is operated by TanzSoft LLC (유한회사 TanzSoft), 525 Gonghang-daero, Gangseo-gu, Seoul, Republic of Korea (business registration 739-88-03141). Contact: help@tanzsoft.com.

This policy explains what we collect, why, who processes it, and the choices you have.

1. AI disclosure and our AI provider

Every character in Swoontale is artificial intelligence, not a real person. Replies are generated automatically and may be inaccurate.
Your chat messages, the character's settings, your story summary and your memory notes are sent to Anthropic, PBC (Claude), our AI model provider, to generate replies, summaries, suggested replies, translations and safety checks. Anthropic processes this data on our behalf to provide the service. Under Anthropic's commercial terms, data sent through its API is not used to train its models.
Anthropic's servers are located outside your country (mainly the United States). By agreeing to the AI notice in the app you consent to this international transfer.

2. What we collect

We do not collect contacts, photos, precise location, advertising IDs or microphone audio. Voice playback uses your device's built-in text-to-speech.

Your story preferences (for example, choosing boys' love stories) may reveal sensitive information. We use them only to show stories you asked for and never sell or share them for advertising.

3. Who receives data

Anthropic, PBC — AI processing (see section 1).
Google LLC — Google Play billing, Firebase Cloud Messaging (push notifications), optional Google sign-in.
Our hosting provider in the Republic of Korea.

We do not sell personal data and do not share it for targeted advertising. The first release of the app contains no ads.

4. Safety processing

To keep the service safe, messages are automatically checked for signs of self-harm, sexual content involving minors, explicit sexual content, hate and attempts to bypass rules. If you mention thoughts of self-harm, the character pauses and the app shows helplines for your country. Reported messages may be read by our staff for review.

5. Your rights and choices

Edit or delete memory notes and your profile at any time in the app.
Turn off push notifications and "he messages first" in Settings.
Delete your account in Settings → Account → Delete. Stories, memory, profile and tokens are deleted immediately; purchase records are kept only as required by law with identifiers removed.
You may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction or a copy of your data, and object to processing, by e-mailing help@tanzsoft.com. Residents of the EU/UK, California, Korea and other regions have these rights under local law, and may complain to their data protection authority.

6. Adults only

Swoontale is only for people aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If we learn that a user is under 18, the account is closed and its data deleted.

7. Security

Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Access to servers and databases is restricted. No system is perfectly secure; we will notify you and authorities of a breach as required by law.

8. Changes

We will announce material changes in the app before they take effect.
